There is a lot of excitement surrounding this new edition
O Gozo Festival was created in 2023 with the support of the Xunta de Galicia, through the Axencia Turismo de Galicia, as part of the Concertos do Xacobeo programme, and in a very short time it has established itself as one of the major cultural and musical events in the north of the country. Its third edition, held in 2025, confirmed this growth with a massive response from the public and excellent critical acclaim.
This year, the festival has brought together more than 55,000 people at concerts by artists as diverse as Franz Ferdinand, Anastacia, Alanis Morissette, David Guetta, Maná, Lenny Kravitz, Bright Eyes, Foster The People, Lionel Richie and Al Di Meola. The programme has successfully combined big international names with different styles, demonstrating that variety is one of the hallmarks of the project.
In just three years, O Gozo Festival has managed to attract top-level artists to Galicia, many of whom were visiting the region for the first time. Robbie Williams, Ed Sheeran, Robert Plant, Queens Of The Stone Age, Rod Stewart, Bomba Estéreo, Marshmello, Armin Van Buuren, ZAZ, Pixies, Loreena McKennitt and Nils Frahm are just some of the names on a list that demonstrates the international dimension the festival has achieved. More than 170,000 people have already attended the festival, a figure that clearly reflects its popularity with the public.
With its sights set on 2026, O Gozo Festival reaffirms itself as an essential meeting point for major international artists visiting the peninsula. This commitment not only enriches the cultural offering, but also has a clear economic and tourist impact, highlighting everything Galicia has to offer.
